Every Qurbani at Nova is performed under my personal supervision. Tasmiyah is recited, the animal is treated with dignity, and not a part is wasted. This is the Sunnah — done correctly.

? Questions

Common questions.

When exactly will the slaughter happen?
After Eid prayer on the morning of Eid al-Adha (provisionally Wednesday 27 May 2026 in the UK, subject to moon sighting). We begin at 8am and continue throughout the day in order of booking.
Can I attend the slaughter?
Yes. Customers who book a whole lamb may attend if they wish (the facility has limited capacity, please request in advance). Cow share customers may also attend.
How is my share divided?
You can request whole, curry-cut, or roast-cut. The traditional thirds split (family, friends, charity) is offered as an option — we distribute the charity portion via verified UK foodbanks on your behalf.
What if Eid falls on a different day?
We follow the official UK announcement on the evening of 28 Dhul-Qa'dah. All bookings are automatically rescheduled if Eid moves — you'll receive confirmation.
Can I cancel my booking?
The £50 deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another year. Full cancellation with no charge is available up to 14 days before Eid.
